The purpose of the Women’s Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church in Canada is:

The Women’s Missionary Society is a community of Christians whose purpose in response
to the love of God in Jesus Christ, is to encourage one another and all the people
of the church to be involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship.

The Women’s Missionary Society is a Society within the Church that shares in the Church’s education program in cooperation with the Life and Mission Agency of the Presbyterian Church in Canada working towards mission in Canada and around the world.

It is hoped that this information will be useful as a guideline for executives of local groups of the Women’s Missionary Society.
